On-Hook Coverage

Should a vehicle that is being towed or hauled by one of your drivers gets damaged by a collision, fire, theft, explosion or vandalism, on-hook towing coverage pays for repairs or replacement up to the policy limits.

Who Needs It?

  • Towing Companies - Should you damage a customers vehicle while towing it to the yard, on-hook coverage will pay for the damages

  • Service Stations - Protect your customers vehicles while in transportation or moving from one service location to another.

  • Trucking For Hire - When hauling vehicle not owned by you, ensure that your business is covered should an accident occur out on the road.

What Isn’t Covered?

  • Towing Your Car Behind Your Mobile Home - Coverage applies only when commercial vehicles are in use for business purposes.

  • Transporting Your Own Vehicles Or Vehicles Owned By Your Business - Coverage does not apply to any vehicle owned by you or your business. These vehicles will need to be covered by a separate Commercial Auto policy.

  • Towing Antique Cars, Race Cars Or Boats For Personal Use -  If a vehicle is being towed for personal use, this coverage will not apply as this vehicle would need to be covered by its own separate policy.
